Team Members

As a team manager, this is where you control team membership and roles. Everyone who registers with your company's email domain (configured in Company Description) automatically joins the team.

Inviting Team Members

Click "Invite Team Members" to open the invitation dialog. Enter the name, email, and role (Member or Manager) for each person you want to add.

Here's what happens next:

  1. They receive an email with a registration link
  2. When they click the link, they should create their portal account immediately (without visiting other pages first)
  3. They become team members right after registration
  4. Their email is automatically validated since they clicked your invitation link

Changing Member Roles

As a manager, you can change any team member's role:

  • Promote to Manager: They gain full team management access and can edit company settings
  • Demote to Member: They keep access to shared team licenses but lose management capabilities

Controlling Email Notifications

By default, only the license owner receives renewal and credential emails. You can change this by checking "Receives emails" next to any team member. They'll then receive:

  • License renewal announcements for licenses owned by any team member
  • Credential emails for new licenses purchased by any team member

Removing Team Members

Click "Remove" next to a member and confirm the security question to remove them from the team. This means:

  • They lose access to all team features in the Hyvä Portal
  • You lose access to any licenses they own (they keep the licenses themselves)
  • They keep their portal account, Hyvä Slack access, and GitLab access—only team features are revoked
