Installing Category Merchandiser

Beta release

Category Merchandiser is in beta. Follow the beta upgrade notes for the stability constraint your root composer.json needs, and review the changelog for what's included before using it in production.

This guide covers installing the Category Merchandiser module with Composer.

Installation

For prerequisites, see Hyvä Commerce Installation Page.

Require the relevant package. For Hyvä Commerce (Magento Open Source) users:

composer require hyva-themes/commerce-module-category-merchandiser

For Hyvä Enterprise (Adobe Commerce) users:

composer require hyva-themes/enterprise-module-category-merchandiser

Run a setup upgrade:
```
bin/magento setup:upgrade
```

After Installing

Category Merchandiser is enabled by default once installed, and immediately replaces the default "Products in Category" grid on every category. To turn it off, or to change search and grid defaults, see Configuration.
