Installing Category Merchandiser

Beta release

Category Merchandiser is a new module currently in beta. Review the changelog for what's included before using it in production.

Adobe Commerce compatibility

Category Merchandiser is not currently supported on Adobe Commerce, as it ships its own Visual Merchandiser, which conflicts with Hyvä's merchandiser. A dedicated compatibility module for Hyvä Enterprise is coming soon to provide full Adobe Commerce compatibility.

This guide covers installing the Category Merchandiser module with Composer.

Installation

For prerequisites, see Hyvä Commerce Installation Page.

1. Require the hyva-themes/commerce-module-category-merchandiser package:

   composer require hyva-themes/commerce-module-category-merchandiser
   

2. Run a setup upgrade:

   bin/magento setup:upgrade
   

After Installing

Category Merchandiser is enabled by default once installed, and immediately replaces the default "Products in Category" grid on every category. To turn it off, or to change search and grid defaults, see Configuration.
