[1.0.0] - 2026-10-12

The 1.0.0 release adds bulk transfer, a storefront switch, and warnings for products shoppers can't reach, and makes group saves safer.

Group Names Must Be Unique Before You Run setup:upgrade

Group names are now unique, ignoring case. If your store has groups that share a name, bin/magento setup:upgrade fails on the HYVA_COMMERCE_LINKED_GROUP_GROUP_NAME index. The command that resolves this comes with 1.0.0, so run it after updating the code and before bin/magento setup:upgrade: bin/magento hyva:linked-products:dedupe-group-names lists such groups, and rerunning it with --fix renames all but the oldest group of each name, or with --remove deletes them. Both ask for confirmation and default to No. In a deploy script, add --force (-f), or the command prints "Aborted" and exits with an error. Without --fix or --remove, the command also exits with an error while duplicates remain, so a deploy script stops before setup:upgrade.

Rebuild Your Theme CSS When You Upgrade

Color swatches now take their size and color from a style rule that is compiled into your Hyvä theme's CSS. After upgrading from 0.1.0, run bin/magento hyva:config:generate and rebuild every Hyvä theme's styles, even if you rebuilt them for 0.1.0. Until you do, color swatches render as empty circles. See Generating CSS.

Added

  • CSV import and export of Linked Product Groups as a Magento import and export entity, Linked Product Groups under System → Data Transfer, with an Export to CSV mass action in the Linked Product Groups grid and the hyva:linked-products:import and hyva:linked-products:export commands. Imports support Add/Update and Delete behaviors and a dry run, and move products out of other groups. See Importing and Exporting Groups.
  • hyva:linked-products:dedupe-group-names command to list, rename, or delete groups that share a name.
  • Enabled setting under Stores → Settings → Configuration → Hyvä Commerce → Linked Products to show or hide linked products on the product page per website or store view. See Configuring Linked Products.
  • Unreachable product marks in the group form, the Product Edit page, and both Add Products panels, plus a banner on the Product Edit page. See Unreachable Products.
  • CSV imports warn when products in a group that are on the storefront share the same option for every link attribute, by the same rule as the unreachable marks.
  • Link Attributes column in the Linked Product Groups grid.

Changed

  • Group saves are validated and applied in a single transaction. A refused save returns to the form with your changes and the reason, such as a missing name, fewer than two products, or products that already belong to another group.
  • Group names are unique, ignoring case. The group form refuses a name another group has, and a group created from the Product Edit page gets the product ID added to its name when the name is taken.
  • Removing products from a group on the Product Edit page no longer deletes a group left with fewer than two products. No group is deleted automatically, including when a product is deleted.
  • The storefront layout moved from catalog_product_view.xml and catalog_product_view_type_configurable.xml to the hyva_linkedproducts_enabled and hyva_linkedproducts_enabled_configurable handles. Update theme layout XML that references product.info.linked. See Customizing the Product Page Output.
  • Prices in the admin product tables are formatted with the currency, such as $63.00, and sort numerically.
  • Color swatches only accept hex color values.
  • Hyva\LinkedProducts\Api\LinkedGroupProductRepositoryInterface gains addDuplicateToOriginalGroup(), and getOrCreateGroupId() takes an optional $groupName argument. Hyva\LinkedProducts\Api\LinkedGroupAttributeRepositoryInterface gains saveAttributeIdsForGroup(), which the CSV importer calls. A custom implementation of either interface, or a preference for it, must add them.

Fixed

  • Linking products from the Product Edit page names the new group after the product.
  • Saving a configurable product no longer copies its link attributes or linked products to its child products.
  • Product saves that don't come from the Product Edit page form, such as REST, no longer change grouping.

[0.1.0] - 2026-07-28

The 0.1.0 release for Linked Products is the initial (beta) release.
