Developer Documentation
Linked Products is deliberately small on the developer side. The storefront output is one Hyvä block with one template and one view model, and grouping lives in three database tables. The pages in this chapter cover the two things developers usually need: changing how the swatches render in a theme, and knowing where the data lives and how to work with it from code or deployment scripts.
Customizing the Storefront
- Customizing the Product Page Output: the layout handles, the
product.info.linkedblock, the template and view model, overriding the template, and Tailwind CSS compilation.
Working with Linked Product Data
- Data Model and Extension Points: the database tables, the PHP interfaces, the observers and plugins that keep groups consistent, and automating groups with the CLI.
